My dad passed away this week. It was his old 35mm camera that got me into photography. He shot roll after roll of film, and thousands of old slides attest to that fact. My love for the outdoors came from him. My earliest childhood memory is riding on his back while he fly fished in the mountain rivers of Colorado. My dad was a generous and hard-working man. He owned his own auto-body shop and he loved to custom paint cars. He was an artist and his cars were his canvas. Part of my creative “eye” comes from him. He was always willing to give me a hand without ever complaining or asking anything in return. He was only 75 years old, but he lived a humbled and quiet life. Good bye dad, I love you.
