  • That morning we found some huge ice ridges about hundred yard off from shore. Of course, these large ice piles beckoned us. Some of the ice heaves were over twelve feet high. It was partly sunny, with dark clouds and lightly snowing, so it created the perfect backdrop for this memorizing blue ice. I climbed up on the ice and my friend snapped a photo of me.
