  • I backpacked into Bean and Bear Lakes up near Silver Bay. This is not an easy hike. Plan on at least 3 hours of hiking to get to this location. The campsite is located down by the edge of the lake. In the morning it was mostly cloudy, but pockets of sunshine would pop out for a few minutes and then quickly disappear.
