January Frost

The first day of frost I had to work and could only stare at it through my window. After work I drove home, grabbed my camera and shot this barn.

Last fall we went to an apple orchard and I remember seeing this old building. I decided to revisit it on day two of the frost.

I took my camera to work and decided to drive the back roads on the way home and look for old barns.

I almost drove by this barn because it sat back off the road. I am glad I stopped.

Any wind or warm temperatures and the frost is gone. During the course of a winter I might see two or three frosty days, but never in a row.

I love how this red barn is peeking from behind the frosty trees, like it was trying to hide from me.

I love finding old abandoned cars and trucks.

There are fewer and fewer round barns in Minnesota. This gem is located down in Rogers.
